THE FLAGLER TRIBUNE
	        Bunnell, Florida
	        Thursday, August 21, 1919

The entire population of Bunnell and many sections of Flagler County were shocked and surprised last Thursday morning to learn of the sudden and entirely unexpected death of one of our most estimable young women, Mrs. R. T. Hamilton of St. Johns Park, or upper Haw Creek section, as her home is known.
Mrs. Hamilton was ill for only a few days, and while serious was not considered to be in imminent danger, and her death Thursday saddened the hearts of all who knew her or her relatives, many of whom reside in Flagler and St. Johns counties.
Besides her grief-stricken young husband, Mrs. Hamilton leaves an aged mother, Mrs. P. F. Pellicer, two sisters, Mrs. I. H. Frier of Haw Creek and Mrs. J. B. White of McDonough, Ga., and six brothers, Clarence E., G. F., J. E., J. L., and P.P. Pellicer, of Flagler County and another brother, Mr. Paul J. Pellicer of Texas, all of whom have the deepest sympathy of the entire county in the loss of one so near and dear to them.
Mrs. Hamilton was born in McDonough, Ga. but was raised in Flagler County and was a most attractive and lovable young woman. She was married to Mr. Hamilton in September of last year and Mr. Hamilton was called into service only a few days later. He had only recently secured his release and he and his young bride had for a few short months resided near the home of her mother where young Hamilton has a splendid farm.
The funeral services were held at the dock at St. Johns Park just prior to embarkation for Crescent City, Rev. R. L. Ramsey of Bunnell officiating.
Interment was made in the family lot at the Crescent City Cemetery.
All the immediate relatives were present at the last sad rites except the brother in Texas, who was unable to get here in time.
