G. F. Pellicer, 46 years old, died last Saturday in a Daytona Beach hospital after an illness of several months.

"Gus," as the deceased was familiarly known to his friends was born in McDonald, Georgia, but was a resident of this county since its creation.

Surviving the deceased are his mother, Mrs. Rebecca Pellicer; two sisters, Mrs. J. B. White and Mrs. I. H. Frier; five brothers, Paul, C.E., J. E., J. L., and P. P., all of the surviving relatives are residents of this county except Paul whose home is in Waterloo, Iowa.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. M. DeVette, pastor of the Baptist church here and burial was made at Pellicer Cemetery Sunday. Many friends and relatives of the deceased attended the services.
