Dr. Orville Sewell Palmer, who was pastor of the Bunnell Methodist Church about 15 years ago, died yesterday afternoon in a Ft. Myers hospital.

Dr. Palmer, who served the church here several years, was pastor of the Naples Methodist Church at the time of his death.

A graduate of Florida Southern College, Emory University and Boston University, he was widely known as a preacher and as a writer of religious articles and books.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow at Naples. The .body will be buried at Haines City Saturday.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. O. S. Palmer; his mother; Mrs. W. J. Palmer of Haines City; a sister, Dr. Mary Leigh Palmer of DeLand, and a brother, the Rev. B. William Palmer of Cross City.
