Mrs. Nellie Wheeler Palmer, of 700 Howe St., a resident of Bunnell for seven years, died Monday morning at Bunnell General Hospital after a brief illness.

She was born in Saginaw, Mich. She moved to Bunnell from Atlanta. She was a life member and past matron of DeWitt Chap. 30, Order of Eastern Star and a member of Haw Creek Women’s Club. Survivors include two daughters - - including Mrs. Earl Baker, Bunnell; seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at DeWitt, Michigan. Craig Funeral Home, Bunnell, is in charge of local arrangements.
