Word has been received here that D. E. Davis, 75, died in a Taylorsville, N. C., hospital Sunday, December 20 from an attack of pneumonia. Mr. and Mrs. Davis have owned a winter home here over ten years and have been spending the winters here.
Funeral services were held at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Taylorsville Tuesday, December 22, at 2 P. M. Among the survivors are his wife, six sons, nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
