J. Brad Aycock, 64, assistant chief inspector for the Better Housing Commission of Chattanooga, Tenn., and brother of Mrs. Jean Davis of Bunnell, died April 3, 1975 in a Chattanooga hospital.

A member of a prominent pioneer family of South Pittsburg, Tenn., he had been with the commission 11 years.

He was a World War II veteran; member of the Methodist Church and past master of East Ridge Lodge 755 F & AM.

Mr. Aycock is also survived by his wife, Mrs. Ethel Elson Aycock; a daughter, Mrs. Deloris DiRisio, both of Chattanooga; a brother, another sister and two grand­children.

Funeral and burial services were Friday in Chattanooga with members of the Better Housing Commission as honorary pallbearers.
