Rexford Hayes Atwood, former operator of Dinty Moore's Bar and Grill north of Flagler Beach on Ocean Shore Boulevard, died at his home, 1502 Aberdeen Avenue, Jacksonville, Wednesday morning.

Atwood was a native of Lynn, Mass. but had maintained his residence in Jacksonville for 20 years.

He is survived by one brother, Frank Atwood, of Swampscott, Mass.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Seashole Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
