George W. Atkins, Jr., 65, passed away at his residence in Artesia Park Sunday. He was a native of St. Louis, Mo., and had resided in Artesia Park the past 14 years.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Marian L. Atkins, Artesia Park; a sister Mrs. Marion Capstick, St. Louis.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock in the Johnson Memorial Chapel, Artesia Park, with Rev. Gerald Combs officiating.

Garcia Funeral Home of St. Augustine was in charge of arrangements.
