		  A seventy-two-year-old Daytona  Beach woman was killed and a 78 year-old-man seriously injured when they rammed  into the back end of a flatbed semi-trailer three miles south of Bunnell on  U.S. 1 Monday night.
		  Edward Clegg, 30 Wild Olive Drive, Daytona Beach, was listed in critical  condition at Halifax   Hospital after the car he  was driving rammed the back end of the semi driven by John Kastner of Bunnell.  Elizabeth Ashley, of 707 Harvey, Daytona Beach, a  passenger in the Clegg car, was killed on impact.
		  Kastner, owner of Johns Auto  Parts, was attempting to turn off U.S. 1 northbound from the right hand lane  when the car Clegg was driving, also northbound, rammed into the trailer,  according to FHP Trooper Gabe Neely.
		  The accident occurred around  6:30 p.m. Sheriff's Deputies Grady Prather and David Higgenbotham assisted Neely  and Trooper G. A. Brown Jr. at the scene. According to Neely, the accident is  still under investigation.
