Mrs. Mamie Lee Meares, sister of J. M. Arnold, Jr., of Bunnell, passed away Thursday night at her home, 406 Ander­son St., in New Smyrna Beach, after a long illness. She was 40 years of age.

She is survived by her husband, Clarence Meares of New Smyrna Beach; two sons, Milton Ray MacDonald and Raymond Lee MacDonald of Port Orange; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Arnold, Sr., of St. Augustine. Also surviving are four brothers, J. M. Arnold, Jr., of Bunnell; Willard Arnold, St. Augustine; Lloyd Arnold of Lake­land and Marylon Arnold of Orlando.

Graveside services were held at eleven o'clock Saturday morning at the Espanola Cemetery with Rev. William L. Spicer, Jr., of the Bunnell Methodist Church officiating.

Craig Funeral Home of Bunnell was in charge of arrangements.
