Joseph M. Arnold of St. Augustine and former resident of Bunnell, passed away at his home there Friday after an illness of several weeks.

He was born in Baxley, Ga. and had lived here several years before going to St. Augustine seven years ago.

Survivors include his wife, Mahala; three sons, Lloyd Arnold, Lakeland, Joseph Arnold, Jr., Bunnell, and Willard Arnold, Flagler Beach; one sister, Mrs. Dolly Perry, Baxley; one brother, Memory Arnold, Baxley; 14 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

Services were held at Craig Funeral Chapel in St. Augustine at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon with Rev. W. W. Fountain of the Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in the family lot at the Espanola Cemetery.
