William H. Apple, 77, 9 Federal Lane, Palm Coast, died Tuesday at his home after a lengthy illness. He was a retired welder for the Navy.

Mr. Apple came to Palm Coast two years ago from Philadelphia, his birthplace. He was a member of Mother Seton Catholic Church.

Survivors include his widow, Cathryn, and three sons.
