Thursday,  March 24, 1977 - - Jimmy E. Anderson, Flagler  Beach resident and business man, was  killed Monday night 15 miles south of St. Augustine  when his 1976 Jaguar struck the side of a semi-tractor trailer which had failed  to yield the right of way, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) office  in St. Augustine.
	        FHP  Trooper Paul Shinholster, investigating officer at the scene, stated Anderson  was traveling north on U.S. 1 when a semi-tractor trailer driven by Richard E.  Barnes, Sanford, failed to yield when attempting to turn south on US 1 from  across the Border South Truck Stop.
	        Trooper  Shinholster stated Anderson  applied his vehicle's brakes but collided with the left side of the  semi-trailer. Shinholster said Anderson  was dead at the scene. 
	        Barnes  has been charged with failure to yield and a FHP homicide officer is currently  investigating the incident, Trooper Shinholster said.

	        Thursday,  March 24, 1977 - - Jimmie E. Anderson, 37, 604 Moody Blvd. Flagler Beach, owner  of Anderson's  Super Market, died Monday night as a result of an automobile accident on SR  204 and US 1 north of Bunnell.
	        Born  in Ft. Worth, Tex.,  he moved to Flagler Beach one and one-half years ago from Texarkana, Tex.  He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Survivors  include his wife, Marguerite; his mother and stepfather, Ollie and J. D.  Perritt, one daughter, Barbara Ann, two sons, David and John; and one sister,  Victoria. Graveside funeral services will be conducted today (Thursday) at 2  p.m. at Espanola Cemetery, with the Rev. Max Hall, pastor  of Flagler Beach First Baptist Church, officiating.
	        Craig's Funeral Home Bunnell  is in charge.
