Thursday, May 5, 1949 - - Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Rentha Wainright, age 62 years, who died April 25, were held Thursday, April 28 in the Berea Baptist Church in Jack­sonville. Rev. George Hodges of the Beaver Street Baptist and Dr. R. D. Engle, Jr., pastor of the Berea Baptist Church, officiated.

Mrs. Wainright was, at the time of her death, residing at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry McKenney of Bunnell. Mrs. Wainright came to Bunnell last December.

She was a native of Baker County, Florida and a resident of Jacksonville about 50 years. She was a member of Berea Baptist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Harry McKenney of Bunnell; three sons, Norwood W. Newsom, National City, Calif.; Ross F. Newsom, Jacksonville; Lee E. Newsom, Dallas, Texas; two brothers, J. H. Altman and S. Altman of Jacksonville. Also surviving are eight grand children.

Interment was in Riverside Memorial Park cemetery in Jack­sonville, and under directors of Estes-Krauss Funeral Home.
