Thursday, January 20, 1977 - - Audrey A. Rice, 52, 209 N. Forsythe St. died Jan. 12 at St. Augustine General, Hospital. Born in Ardale, Iowa, she moved to Flagler County 25 years ago, from Nora Springs, Iowa.

She was a waitress at the Sheraton Palm Coast Inn, and a member of the Bunnell First United Methodist Church and order of Eastern Star Chapter 93.

She is survived by her husband, Earl E. Rice, Sr., and one son Earl E. Rice II, both of Bunnell, her mother, Mrs. Minnie Allen, Ardale; two sisters, Mrs. Opal Worley, Ardale, and Mrs. Carol Hagan, Fertile, Iowa; three brothers, Dallas and Lester Allen, both of Ardale, and Lowell Allen of Green, Iowa.

Funeral services were held Sat. Jan. 15 at the Bunnell First United Methodist Church with Rev. T. Shelton Brooks, officiating. Interment was in Espanola Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Bob Arnold, Stan Bower, Jack Forson, Jack Miller, Chester Ruggles and David Smith. Honorary pallbearers were Gene Barber, Donald Bullock, Coy Harris, C.B Eisenbach, Ralph Miller and Chip Brooks.

Craig Funeral Home Bunnell was in charge of arrangements.
