Edward Allen Eatman
Edward Allen Eatman, son of Calvin L. (Buck) Eatman and Annie Elizabeth Allen, was born 01 Jan 1863 in Raleigh, NC and died 21 Mar 1953, St Augustine, St Johns CO, FL, married 13 Feb 1901, FL, Julia Carter, dau of Tillman Henry Carter and Nancy L O'Steen, born 21 Aug 1879, Carterville, St Johns CO, FL, died 08 Dec 1939, Flagler CO, FL. Both are buried Pellicer Creek Cemetery, St Johns CO, FL.
He came to Florida in 1863 with his parents, first living in the area of Fort Payton then the family moved to the northeast section of present Flagler County, his father having purchased the property known as the Long Grant, and except for a short period resided there for the remainder of his life.
He was living in South Florida at the time of his father's death but returned and managed the family farm, married and reared his family on the family farm. They are listed on page 72 of the 1910 census and on page 44 of the 1920 census with his occupation given as "Farmer." They were the parents of eleven children;
