Lonney B. Bratcher
Lonney B. Bratcher, son of Bishop Marvin Bratcher and Litha M (LNU), was born 04 Jun 1899, Blackshear, Pierce CO, GA, and died 29 May 1964, Bunnell, Flagler CO, FL. He married Gertrude Turner, dau of William Henry (Bud) Turner, born 18 Dec 1903, Appling CO, GA and died 09 Mar 1994, Bunnell, Flagler CO, FL. Lonney is buried at Espanola Cemetery, Espanola, Flagler CO, FL. He died in Bunnell, FL just 4 hours after his mother passed away in Alma, Bacon CO, GA.
He and his wife were not found in the 1920 census of Flagler County however they moved here in the early 1920's as he was the first custodian of the Bunnell High School when the new brick building was opened for classes in Sept. 1924. They resided in the house on the school grounds and as the classes came and went all the children knew Mr and Mrs Bratcher. They were the parents of seven children;

Robert Bratcher, born 19 Mar 1923, Alma, Bacon CO, GA, died 24 May 1972, Halifax Hospital, Daytona Beach, Volusia CO, FL, buried Espanola Cemetery, Espanola, Flagler CO, FL, married 07 Apr 1946, Birmingham, England, Eileen Allcock. She arrived in New York City aboard the S S Gibbons about 26 Oct 1946 from her native home in England.
Private First Class Bratcher served in U S Army in WW II, overseas, including Holland, France, Belgium, Germany, first as an infantryman then in Air Corp "fighting all up and down the French and German frontier until he was hospitalized with a knee injury." In Aug 1964 he leased the Sunoco Station on North U. S. Highway 1 near the overpass. Issue;
