Sumner Winn Allen, son of Benjamin Washington Allen and Caroline Elizabeth Fuller, was born 09 Nov 1852 in Dorchester, Liberty CO, GA and died 29 Jan 1926 in Palatka, Putnam CO, FL. He was married to Marie McIntosh (LNU) who was born 21 Jun 1852 in Dorchester, Liberty CO, GA and died 27 Mar 1913 in Jacksonville, Duval CO, FL.
He came to Flagler County prior to the 1920 census and is found on page 4 - - occupation "Turpentine Operator.'" From the census he appears to be operating the turpentine still at St. Joe. Issue:

In May of 1927, he and his brother John, purchased the Bunnell Cleaning Works from Lee Blakely who has been operating the establishment for about a year. John became the manager and had active charge of the plant.
In Aug 1927, 30 Realtors from Daytona Beach were guest of Elliott B Smoak, creamery operator in Volusia CO, on an inspection trip to the dairies of Flagler CO...first stop was at Flagler Shores Palm Dairy and the guests treated to a pint bottle of milk by George Moody, owner.....they then went to Bon Terra Farms daily owned by Ed Johnston and located on the Atlantic Coastal highway

C. Lovelace Clarence Gordon, born 01 Dec 193, FL and died 09 Feb 2007, Mobile, Mobile CO, AL. He married Jane Adams.
Lovelace received a B.A. degree from Florida State University in music, after serving in the U.S. Navy. He moved with his wife, Jane, to Mobile in 1963, accepting positions as band director of Azalea Road Middle School, and as a member of the Mobile Symphony Orchestra.
During the summer-time, he captained the charter boat "Teacher's Pet" in Panama City, Fla., for seven years. He was the owner of M&S Music Store for 45 years. He was an accomplished French hornist and played for many symphonies, including Mobile, Gulf Coast, Pensacola, Meridian, Mobile Opera, and Jackson, Florida Symphony. Issue;
